ADMISSION

Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into full-time degree programmes in the following Colleges:

1.  Science

2. Technology

Applicant would need to satisfy the following general requirements:
(a) Admissions shall be through the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB);

(b) For admission to 100 level, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) or equivalent in relevant subjects in only one sittings; and obtain a minimum of 180 points in University Matriculation Examination.

(c) All candidates who score above 180 in UTME and choose FUPRE as either first or second choice are further invited to a Post University Matriculation Examination (PUME) of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun.

• We receive more applications than we have places. This means that even if you have the right grades for a course, you might not be offered a place.

List of successful candidates offered provisional admission are published on the University’s website and at the admission office.
